Ayurvedic Yoga Massage in Bath and Bradford on Avon 90min/£70
Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) is a dynamic treatment combining yoga stretches and deep tissue massage on the mat. It focuses on three important factors i.e. blood circulation, breathing and vital energy. It was developed by Master Kusum Modak of Pune, India over the last 30 years. It only uses sesame oil and herb called calamus (Vekhnd) in powder form.
Sesame oil is the traditional base of Ayurveda and is absorbed quickly through the skin. It has many benefits such as relaxes and tones the muscles, prevents dehydration, stimulates circulation and promotes better sleep. On the other hand, Calamus has an infant nerve tonic quality. It has been used in Ayurveda for many years. It is believed to rejuvenattes the brain and stimulates the nervous system. It is applied topically which helps to remove toxins from the body through the circulatory system.
